LOL,
Breathing has also been linked to prostate cancer. All this time I have been going to doctors and I coulda just been watching ABC, I've said this before and it would apply in another thread posted this week). This charactar says so many "mights" and and other ambiguous comments you have to wonder if she just likes being on TV. No study numbers are used at all, and no test criteria is listed. This is not a study report, just a commentary. For all that is listed in the article, alcohol could slow prostate cancer progression as well. I am not suggesting this at all because I believe there is some substance there, but just based on the given information this article is not facts just comments.
Can anyone find the study? Here's what I could find:
Harvard University: http://ije.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/30/4/749
WebMD: http://www.webmd.com/prostate-cancer/news/20060522/alcohol-wont-worsen-prostate-symptoms
News-Med: http://www.news-medical.net/?id=20360
Red Wine reduces risk?: http://health.msn.com/health-topics/cancer/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100165329
At least these are studies...
Here's my opinion...and that ain't worth much: The facts are that over consumption of alcohol is a risk of far more than prostate cancer. One should not worry about prostate cancer so much if they drink too much, but heart failure, diebetes, hypertension, and many other cancers...have all been linked to excessive drinking...
Just my thought.
