Somewhere along the threads I recall a post suggesting that a list of good medical oncologists was avaailable and that recommendations might be made to accomodate one's geography. Good referrals are so hard to come by. Can anyone suggest a good guy given my locale?

The PCRI.org web site has a list of prostate oncologists as well as surgeons and radiologists. It tells where they are located and gives contact info.

Jim,
How far are you from NY City? Memorial Sloan Kettering has some dandy oncologists who specialize in prostate cancer. Also the Fox Chase Center is pretty well known. If you don't mind the travel, these are great starts. And I recommend a major center at some point. You can always be treated locally for radiation (IMRT is highly recommended after failed surgery).
