Got the results from from my 6th post procedures psa, up from 0.16 to 0.20

Dr said not the way wanted but still very low, and at this time he doesn't want to put me on anything esle, will get checked again in 4 months

I wish it had been better, but it could have been a hell of alot worse

a relief for another 4 months

You are right........it would have been nice if the reading had remained the same. The increase though is quite small.....0.04, so like you say, it could have been much worse. With any luck you might see a leveling over the next 4 months so until the next test is due, sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.

Sometimes holding our own, or close to it is acceptable for a reason to celebrate. Let's celebrate you getting 4 more months of nothing unusual... smilewinkgrin

Hi mgl,

I see that our stats are very similar, although, I am quite a bit older. I have read from others on this site, that some times the PSA takes a 'bounce' after EBR treatment. Hopefully your very small increase in PSA is just that, a bounce. In any case, try and enjoy the next few month as much as you can and hope for no increase (or decrease) in PSA later this year. I'll keep my fingers x'd for you.
