post op testicle discomfort

All,

I had surgery March 2, 2009 (10 weeks ago). All seems to be going well except I have a lingering discomfort in my left testicle. Some swelling, gets worse after moderate to heavy exercise.  Doc didn't seem too concerned after 6 week check-up (take some advil). A month later no improvement. Anybody else have / had this issue?  Thanks

Hey Jim, i had rrp on 4/23/09 i have the same problem with swelling and discomfort without exercise (just standing) but the post op papers i received from my surgeon mentioned that can happen. Maybe you should try moderate instead of heavy exercise. All the best , Jake

Same here, talked to my dr. today about it, its said its very normal for being six months out of surgery, and it should slowly take care of itself

Had a lot of sensitivity in the scrotum. Lot of discomfort with the vas. Dr told me it was from the CO2 inflation of the abdomen and the scrotum blows up like a balloon and one of the nurses has to "deflate" with her hands... :)

This passed after a couple of months.

Landsman - you'll be out like a light and won't feel a thing....(can't say that I knew about this either)

I also didn't know till a few monmets before surgery that I'd be tilted head down and that my face would ballon out....And that my dad and sis shouldn't freak out when they see me..As it turned out - I didn't ballon too much.
