To be absolutely honest I did find one study that reported positive results with capsicum.
[Cancer Research 66, 3222-3229, March 15, 2006]
Capsaicin, a Component of Red Peppers, Inhibits the Growth of Androgen-Independent, p53 Mutant Prostate Cancer Cells
Akio Mori1, Sören Lehmann1, James O'Kelly1, Takashi Kumagai1, Julian C. Desmond1, Milena Pervan2, William H. McBride2, Masahiro Kizaki3 and H. Phillip Koeffler1
But note that this was done in laboratory dishes, not in human beings.
The study used Capsaicin dissolved in 100% ethanol present at >0.5%
Thus, if you were to replace all of your blood with alcohol with some hot pepper dissolved in it, then 24 hours later your tumor would be growing more slowly. Of course this would kill you in less than a minute.
