I can't remember where I found this list for the Erecaid tension bands but I found it useful.
From least tension to highest tension:
1. One large standard tension (beige-A)
2. One large high tension (pink-B)
3. One medium standard tension (beige-C)
4. One medium high tension (pink-D)
5. One medium standard tension (beige-C) and one large standard tension (beige-A)
6. One medium high tension (pink-D) and one large high tension (pink-B)
7. One medium high tension (pink-D) and one medium standard tension (beige-C)
I use #6 and it seems to work fairly well. I do lose some by the end but it is still enough to do the job.
Need Help Guy,
I suggest you keep trying with smaller/higher tension rings. For me, at first, I had the "you have got to be kidding" feeling when I slid them from the cylinder onto me --- snap!! But, eventually I became comfortable with the higher tension rings and they work so much better for me. It took a lot of practice and trial and error but now I am pretty good/fast at it.
Other tips:
1. Go slow .. don't rush when pumping. 15-30 seconds breaks.
2. Do not press the cylinder into you .. use very light pressure .. just enough to create that vacuum.
3. Stand .. hold at a 45 degree angle down.
By the way, I have an Augusta pump but decided to use the Osbon Erecaid rings with it.
