Geezer, I know where you are coming from. I respect it. But David is right, peace is the best way to raise your concerns. Peter doesn't read all the posts here because there are literally millions. He has to rely on the volunteer moderators to do their best to interpret and if need be apply the rules. And we do need rules for many reasons. Clearly you are hitting on a man who himself has lived through chronic illnesses and decided to do something about it by using his talent to create this site. He is only a webmaster. This site is totally non-profit and all of the moderators are volunteers. That is quite a decent contribution to us guys here at HW if you ask me.

We have a few rules that can make the members unhappy, but we all clicked "OK" when we got here agreeing to the terms of those rules. It's kind of a contract per se and we should try to do our part to adhere to it.

Please understand that many sites have very similar rules...particularly with the discussion in this thread...

Geezer, gotta say I think you are out of line re your insulting comments about Peter.  I don't know the man but I do know he has done a great service by creating and maintaining this site.  IMHO he does not deserve to be insulted just because you don't like the rules (which you agreed to when you joined the forum).  If you don't like the rules you are certainly free to comment on them but why not try to do it respectfully?

Realziggy...thanks for the update.  I'm really glad to hear that you are doing so well.  Your commentary tends to get some people p.o. ed from time to time...actually, I think I jumped on you a time or two.  But...it's frank, it's passionate and I do think your comments are helpful to newcomers who may be considering options.  Why not stick around for awhile and help spread the gospel that there are options...???

geezer99, as far as I know, there have ben not a single word or post deleted or edited by any of the 3 moderators in this thread. NOT ONE WORD OR POST, NOT ONE!! Also, show me a threat. I only asked that the rules be adhered to and to not start a discusion of MM. That's all. So, it'd be a real good idea if you would cool your jets. Please calm down and don't be throwing around accusations. By the way, I don't particularly like being called a liar, like you did in your LORD Peter post.

Here's the deal. I am bending over backwards to allow free and unhindered discussion of this thread, to the extent of letting people insult me, the other moderators and the owner. In almost any section of this forum, the thread would have quickly been locked or deleted and at least 2 guys banned. That hasn't happened here. The discussion is still going and so far as I know, not a single word has been edited or deleted by the moderators.
