Salvage radiation appears to be working well for me,

I went in for my PSA on Friday and for the first time ever and got the results back in the same day and I am glad to say <.01.  He said come see me in a year and we will do it again.   I know there are many on here contemplating this path of treatment and I have to say for me it was the right decision, and luckily I have had no severe side effects at the 18 month point.  It is amazing to me to think that 15 to 20 years ago there is a stong possibility salvage would not have even been attempted.  I know it seems like progress is slow but we are making more progress than most of us realize and I hope we all live to see this beast tamed in the next 10 years, I think we will.

I sure do love to hear all the salvage success stories! I would have a vested interest....lol....Things have really come a long way in the past few years and I, like you, believe there will be some dramatic progress in the coming years. Great to hear the good numbers!

Great news and hopefully your reports contiue to have these results. It was a pretty simular story for me except my came back sooner and was growing a little faster but as of the moment until my next check my too has dropped below detectible.
