Hi everyone,
Although I'm not a Prostate Cancer patient, a google search for my question turned up a lot of results in this forum that are similar to what I'm experiencing, but not exactly, so I thought I'd ask...
Two nights ago I had an appendicectomy/appendectomy. I was under general anasthesia and had a catheter inserted during the laporascopic procedure. When I awoke (after its removal) I noticed 1) difficulty urinating (stricture?), 2) burning in urethra upon urination, 3) a bit of blood in the drops of my urine.
I'm assuming for now that this was within the realm of normal, yes?
Yesterday was very difficult. Today, in the morning, it was a lot easier to urinate; it was more of a "sting" than a "burn." As today has progressed, it has gotten worse and worse where now it's MORE painful and the droplets of blood have returned...
1) Is there reasonably expected?
2) Is there anything ANYthing I can do to make this hurt less other than urinate <5 times a day?
