which meds

We know that we're jumping the gun a little, but hubby and I would like to know which oral meds seem to work best for E.D  treatment.  I'm not sure why the sugeon waits 6 weeks, when most start after the catheter is removed. Hopefully that won't effect anything but not counting on it. The information that the original dr. gave us is outdated (2005). He goes for post op on 10/08/09 and first PSA.

Same old story different blokes, different strokes, we are all different, I tried Viagra and Cialis both seem to have the same response.  Plenty of hot flushes, not alot of action, until the 9 month post surgery mark, when things started to change.  I have been using mainly the cheaper brand now called "Manly" from alldaychemist.com, work out very cheap, compared to the norm, and I think work just as good.  Matter of fact I am thinking soon of going off meds to see if I can achieve it on my own, that to me will be the altimate. 

Dont be scared to order thru the "alldaychemist.com" I have never had a problem.

most docs start with viagra but that may just be be because it has been around longer. I have a better resp[onse to cialis. Ask your doc for samples. Some don't do this but others hand them out like candy on Halloween

And since there basically only 3 drugs to choose from - it won't be hard (pardon the pun) to find the one that works best for your hubby.

I agree with everyone that says; “The important thing is that I am now cancer free!”   All my post-op PSA’s have been “undetectable” and for that, I am truly thankful.   I am so happy for those men that fully recover after PC surgery, and don’t have to worry about getting an erection because all their equipment works just like it used to before surgery.   Unfortunately, for many of us, that is not the case, and we need to find a solution for that side of the side effects.   I still consider myself a man that is young at heart, and frankly I was not ready to give up on a solution that provides me with a satisfactory sex life, and a solution that will work for the rest of my life.   I used Cialis, Viagra and Levitra.  Cialis worked best, but none of them alone provided an erection that was equal to pre-surgery.   I used Tri-Mix shots, and those worked almost too good.  I eventually settled on using the ErectAid pump in combination with Cialis and that worked the best for me.   Regardless, anyone that has used the pump, the oral medications, or the shots, knows that they all come with their own issues.   Frankly, none of these solutions provided me with a solution that I wanted to use for the rest of my life.   Therefore, I eventually decided to go for the "ultimate" solution in March '09.   I decided to go for a Penile Implant .   I can’t tell you how happy I am with this decision.   This has been the only solution that has given me the ability to have an erection that feels “normal”, works “every time”, and allows me to maintain my erection for as long as I (we) chose for it to last.   I never have to worry about “losing it” any more.   It is actually as easy for me to get a satisfying erection, every time, as it used to be 40 years ago.

Each of the 3 ED drugs works differently and each has its own protocol when it comes to food

Viagra for example is almost useless if you take it with a meal. Absorption is a key goal here, also note that Cialis takes a few dosages to fully build up in your system

50mg Viagra 1 hr after a meal and 2 hrs prior to the next meal works the best for me. A close second would be 20mg Levitra, benefit with Levitra is the meals can be closer in time
