Well...got the results 0.09  

Still undetectable by normal standards, but the ultra-low PSA tests are indicating a rising trend.   Thank goodness it is very slow rising and probably can be considered indolent.  Will wait for the next test in 6 months and see where it is at that point.

So Dale...your stuck with me in the zero club for at least another 6 months...I'll send the quarterly dues shortly.  smilewinkgrin

Les, that's a sorta good news situation, still low but some changes happening. We'll keep you in our prayers and thoughts and hope the latest results are just an fluke in the system.

I just hope that due to the massive doses of Celebrex I have to take, it isn't just masking the PSA reading artificially lower.

Hey Les, Good news Kind of, but Mate I dont think I would be waiting 6 months for next PSA nono   I would be going in 3 months, just to be safe wink .......Cheers Kev

I wondered why he wanted to go to six months as well, but I guess he doesn't seem too concerned at this point as the readings are pretty low. Probably won't change all that much between now and then anyway. I may be one of those that just hover around the .1 mark and never increase beyond that.

Personally I would ask for that 3 month reading. Remember there are two criteria that can be important, PSA and rate of climb. You have three successive rises, though i agree it still is too early to call it relapse, but it appears headed that way and the next one would be over the warning line.

Still you are doing great and have much reason for hope.

Les, .09, ain't that the teaser number, just 1/100th being at that unwanted magic mark. Glad for you, but would want another one if it were me to make sure its not an upward trend, no matter how slowly it were creeping. Least you get some breathing space.

Thanks Dave...yeah...getting near that twilight zone where the PSA becomes detectable, but not enough to classify as a recurrance. I really hope that it stays within this range and not move too much higher. That way I can take the Active Surveillance route without further treatment. I follow your story and I know I am so much better off than you in dealing with this disease. I actually sometimes dread opening one of your posts for fear of reading more horror to add to the amount you have already endured thus far.

Just keep the faith my friend and thanks for all you do here at Healingwell.

way to go brother and thanks for renewing the membership. I say lets go skydiving and have some fun. Got to celebrate great news you know.
