Dinner with Racing Oyster

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Racing Oyster (Larry), one of our dear brothers for dinner this evening.  He was on his way home to Atlanta.  We had a good time, good meal, and great conversation.  For a guy that had open surgery four months ago, he looks great, and is doing well.

There's nothing like meeting one of the brethren face to face, and connect our words to a real person with a handshake and hug.

We really enjoyed his company and look forward to seeing him again in the future.

David that is great. When I am up to traveling maybe we can meet between SC and Commerce , Ga for lunch. Having a face to face makes using the computer worth it. Take care and hope that you continue to feel well.

Michael, would love to meet you sometime. Oyster and were going to meet in Commerce, but once I started radiation, couldn't handle that long a drive there and back, and he was passing through on his way back to Atlanta so it worked out good. E-mail me sometime.

I'm so glad you suggested meeting in person. Even with the unfaltering support of my wife and family, it's was good to talk face-to-face with someone going through a similar journey. I'm happy that our membership in the forum has led to a warm friendship. I hope to get together again when you have all the radiation, and the disease, behind you.
