Post op plus 10 days and first difficult BM arrived on day 4....2-3 stool softeners a day and each small BM daily was a struggle but successful and not too much pain. the gravity to do its thing, I reached down to fix my socks,
Then a Eureka moment!
as i raied my right foot a few inches of the ground mr fecal began to slide more easily.....still with some post op pain i slowly grabbed the right angle and lifted it a bit more.....good results....late last night and early today I gried it again...almost but not quite crossing your legs sort of....spread eagle on the throne, and using your hands to help lift your right foot almost onto your left kneww....some physiologist or colo rectal specialist on the blog can tell us why, but it sort of naturally opened the sphincter, started the movement of the BM and decreased the time of the whole process...the feeling was one of relief and now I think I have devised an easy way to reduce or completely eliminate the stool softeners...
our moderator asked for whacko experiences that mighthelp the other guys....so it is all just fyi
