Anyone experienced a sleeve resection circumcision?

I know this is a different subject but if any of you men have experienced a sleeve resection circumcision I would like some information on it. Too, the best way to find a doctor who is really proficient with this surgery. My doctor would not discuss it with me and he is a urologist....I wonder if he does not know how to perform it. Said he performs circumcisions but I do not want to be disfigured and the resection is suppose to heal much faster and no loss of sensitivity. One who is suppose to be an expert declined because of my age. The problem I'm having is that the pubic hair gets caught between the foreskin and head and it is like a razor. I'm not always where I can unzip and get the hair out. Thanks.

Not trying to be smart here, but surely would you not, keep that area a little trimmed. Sure as hell know I would, rather than go thru all that pain , discomfort and expense of circumcision.

An electric beard trimmer would do the job........Cheers Kev

I agree, unless you have your heart set on getting circumcised, a little manscaping would take care of it.

Yikes! I'm guessing that a sleeve resection keeps the front and most sensitive part of the foreskin and removes a less sensitive part further back.

I agree with NotHard -- why not just trim off the hair? Pain free (usually!) compared to the alternative.

Of course there may also be other reasons why you want the resection; if so, trimming probably won't help with those.
