I've read of that study with great interest. I am following a course of Active Surveilance, and have made major changes to diet and lifestyles sinnce my date of DX, two years ago. I am totally vigitarian, pursuing a macrobiotic approach. I also have modified my lifestyle, to include dedicated Yoga practice.
Before I commenced my dietary changes, I had taken medication to control blood pressure for 4 or 5 years. I now take no medications whatever, and my blood pressure is very well controlled. I lost a lot of weight, settling finally to just what I weighed in my early 20's, and a BMI of 19. You will see my cholesterol numbers, below. I personally think that its quite sensible that there's a direct correlation between cholesterol (controlled especially by diet) and agressiveness of PC.
