Rapid rise of PSA

Welcome to HW, Bee. My that is some serious psa rise some 7 years after your surgery. What is your doctor telling you? You said you have been on some form of HT for the past six years, hopefully that would have helped keep your psa in check, and it didnt. Have you had any recent bone scans to see if there is any evidence of PC spread?

Not enough information herein to give you alot of heads up, but if you are on LHRH drug now, like zoladex or lupron etc. and your psa is at this level, then you need a PCa oncologist and another type of drug therapy to atleast try on. Alot of various drugs and protocols can be used to get new results against PCa and drop that psa(give some control over PCa) atleast for some duration of time and that can vary greatly from patient to patient. Assumingly if you do nothing it will keep rising and or maybe be doubling within 6 months or less and if so.....omnious future expections as to bone and other tissues having mets present, but still can respond to new therapies...how long is always the biggest unknown and question. Get busy looking at everything out there is in your best interests.
