Thanks Sheldon, you always have the right words for me, appreciate it.
Michael, I can easily lose the weight, not real obese or anything, but have some fluff in the middle. Hard diet to be on, rather be fat, lol.
Jake, thanks, glad you are doing well too. I dont view these daily reports as a fishing trip for symphany, I do it because I know others like the details on the day to day procedures, treatments, and troubles. And of course, what has happened to me, or some of my issues and complications certainly don't mean it would happen to you or anyone else. It shows what can happen if nothing else.
PS Jake, my rad. dr. said during these 8 weeks, eat whatever i felt like, plenty of protein and carbs in particular, to build up some strength, because radiation does to a number on one's immune system. When I am hungry in recent times, usually craving proteins in particular.
Jeff, thanks, you are a good friend and I appreciate your care and concerns. PC may be a brutal beast at times, but I will never go down without a fight. Use to fantasize about reaching 100 years old and getting shot by a jealous husband, don't intend for PC to take me down
Bill, thanks too, what you did with your BP is great news, that should make you and your dr's happy. BP hasn't been an issue for me in life so far. For a guy that has been such a cancer magnet, its strange that I dont have BP or cloresteral troubles, not even remotely diabetic prone, virtually never get colds, coughs, sore throats, flus, etc. At 57, still don't need glasses and still have all my teeth, lol. So there are parts of me what work well. I could way wrong, no way to prove this, but I still think my 4 cancers so far in life were all the result of toxic exposures when I was in my early 20s.
Magaboo - thats what I am hoping is going on inside my prostate bed, that the buggers are dying in droves. As much as I hate this radiation in general, and as much as I cant wait for it to end ,if my dr. changed her mind and said I think we need to increase from 39 to 45 treatments, I would probably agree. This is my last big gun going to kill off the cancer, and would be willing to suffer another week if it meant better results. Highly unlikely, cause I am already getting 72 greys, which is quite a bit for a secondary treatment.
David/CPA, yeah in all my cancer events and treatments, past and present, were big weight losers for me, but its not a diet I would want to pass off to anyone else. I have a serious sweet tooth, so probably would have lost more if I didnt like good chocolate so much, lol, hope you are faring well, my fellow acconting brother.
