trimix injections and viagra

hey everyone hows it goin?hope  everyone is doin ok.i have a quick question have any of you tried the trimix injections(im currently on .60) with 100 mg.of viagra? my doctor said this is not a great idea as they might tend to work against each other is this truth or just his opinion?any thoughts on this guys or expierences to share?thx  very much        whm

I have been using Trimix for 3 1/2 yrs. and have used viagra with the shot several times.  For me it didn't seem to make any difference except to give me the same headache I got when I tried Viagra shortly after my surgery.  So, for me, I just save the money it would cost for Viagra and use the Trimix.  Great results and no headache.  Many others here use both with great results however, so like many other issues discussed here, it seems to be an individual thing.  Like Paul, I'm suprised that your Dr. said not to use them together.  You may want to check with another Dr. who is more knowledgable about ED treatments.

I also use trimix alone. The one time that I used viagra with it I noticed no difference.

I find that recommendation from your physician a little strange also. I just saw my Uro doc in clinic last week, and he encouraged me to continue to use Cialis in conjunction with the Bimix that I inject. According to him, he felt that the two type of medications actually compliment each other, and by using the Cialis, I could actually decrease the required dosage of Bimix, thereby hopefully decreasing the amount of pain that was created by the injectable medications. Last night, in an attempt to experiment with this, I only used 10 mg of Cialis, but kept the injectable at previous dosages, and failed miserably at creating and maintaining a functional erection. However, I had taken ibuprofen earlier in the evening, in an attempt to reduce the pain from the Bimix, and the ibuprofen might have interferred with the performance of the Bimix.

Some others on here have stated that they believe that taking Viagra/Levitra/Cialis is overkill when using injectables, but others will report that they do use oral and injectable together to get a better overall response. I am too new into the process to be able to judge that, but if I ever get it nailed down, I'll share it with the crowd here on the forum.

I do the following routine to get ready for an erection.

take 50 mg Viagra (ADC equivalent)
wait 15 - 20 minutes (good time for foreplay)
plump the penis by squeezing blood from the base on up (if not sufficienly plump from the wait)
inject .05 ml Trimix
go back to foreplay ready to go.

It lasts 1 to 2 hours depending on how much action is involved.

I only use .05 ml (5 units on a .5cc insulin syringe with a 31 gauge 5/16 inch needle) because any more than that makes it too hard and it hurts and lasts too long.

My uro started me with .1 cc and that was waaaay too much so I experimented and settled on the above routine that has worked very well for 2 1/2 years. By the way, my current 5 ml Trimix vial is over 18 months old and still going strong.

Start low and work up. My doc started me with .1ml and I can't imagine what I would have gone through with .3 ml.

The reason I use Viagra and plumping before my injection is that I can use only a tiny amount of Trimix. .05 ml is only a few drops really. And I believe that when injection stuff into my tender part, less is always better.

My opinion is that most docs don't have a clue about how much to use. They merely follow the drug company's recommendation. If they tried .1 ml themselves, they'd quickly change there advice to ED patients.

We are all different and conquering ED takes experimentation and patience. My routine works fine for me but it took 6 - 8 months of use to finally find the right combination.
