Shu, you awakened a memory that i had repressed...
My first time injecting, New Years Night, 2008, Caverject 40mcg Impulse, .4cc (recommended by doc and the only setting on the premixed system). Injected at 8pm, super hard results in 15 minutes, like a rock star on coke, on and on and on....10pm, it still hadn't started to subside, 11pm, still nothing, getting worried then. 1130pm, walked through the cold and snow to Walgreen's, just over in the next block. Had on sweat pants and a long parka, but still tented to beat the band. Bought Sudafed, trying to keep my 'package' concealed, while checking out and started swallowing the pills on the way out the door. Once home, I stood outside in the sub-zero air, in the screenroom, with the sweats dropped, hoping to see some reduction. 12mn (ding-ding 4 hours up), began to see some effect of the Sudafed and cold. by 1230am, it had subsided about
half, and since the doc had said if it subsided some from the full effect hard as a rock erection, then it would be safe to let it go down without a trip to the ER. By1 am, it was almost all gone, then I made the mistake of letting curiousity get the better of me and tried a little stimulation. Learned a valuable lesson then- to let sleeping dogs lie, so to speak, as stimulation will revive the dead quickly. All in all, it was past 3 am before all evidence of it was gone. Scary then, funny now, though.... I've learned a lot since then- different chemicals, how to inject, how to find the right ratio, and amount, what to do to get and keep a hour or 1 1/2 hrs. useable erection. . The main thing I learned is if it is going down at the 4 hour mark, then enough blood will get in to keep things healthy, so don't sweat it. AND I've learned that when I'm done playing, to put my toy away and not play with it anymore, no matter how tempting it is to play rock star.....
