An article written in Pacct Newsletter Page 5-6  62 yr old patient, underwent  some cryo and subsequent intraprostatic injection of over 2 million of his own live dendritic cells, the patients results have been excellent via comparison:  prior had difficulty walking, his MRI showed destructive bony lessions in his lumbar vertebrae and soft tissue (cancer) extending into the spinal canal had pressure on spinal cord (compression etc.). 

Now following treatment 6 weeks after, had lessening of pains, 3 weeks later stopped pain meds and took to walking up to 6 miles per day. Subsequent MRI showed improvement in bony lession in the lumbar vertebrae and spinal cord. The total article would need to be read, it is hopeful stuff. The future of immuno-therapy is something you might want to watch closer and especially if you are at high risk and failing all prior treatments.

This is similar to Leukine useage and such that works on the cellular level with dendritic cells the results are there on using Leukine with or w/o other chemical agents for PCa combos.

It is not a fluke, it is more of a fluke that we don't know enough about this type of thing.

David these docs that are the pioneers are going to be the ones making this stuff a reality for our futures or of the face of PCa. There are patients using Leukine right now, it is not a hormone thing at all, it is basically without side effects it is said, but is costly cause it is patented. That can change sooner or later. Have one guy in our PCa group(12 yr. survivor) using Leukine with results right now, seeing Dr. Scholz(1-2 time per year-traveling) and gets to self administer the Leukine shot once a week at home. Luckily his insurance is paying this right now.  It is working against his HRPCa which is a delightful event for a patient who has run out of 'normal' treatments. The next questions is always 'how long', if you have limited time....long is relative and has different meanings to different people.

Exactly bro you want better therapies, better concepts and ideas to work? It is plenty of perspiration and inspiration and pioneers that get off their _sses that make it happen...they could have chosen x.y.z. to make a faster buck ...but maybe they have a higher calling..maybe making all the $$$$ you can is not all that fulfilling, personally you can be wealthy and starving from what matters in life. What is it worth to have Jonas Falk, Thomas Edison, Eli Whitney, Alex Graham Bell, Ben Franklin...et al...on earth???(beyond measure??) These are the heros.

Now do you love status quo on all cancers and diseases or would you like to move on???
I think based upon the status quo results the majority of patients, say find me a better mouse trap and way to go, I like being continent or having normal sex life and longevity. Hopefully the futures so bright we gotta wear shades.
