Hello all and Happy New Year,
Well I completed IG/IMRT treatment #25 at 7:15 this morning and all is still going very well. No real side effects from the RAD other than a little fatigue in the afternoons. Or maybe it's not fatigue but just my way of taking a nap without guilt for letting the little chores slide for a while.
I know I am pre-mature in the Happy New Year by about
16 hours, but I wanted to let all of you know that I wish you each and everyone only the absolute best for the New Year.
As I have said too many times to count, you folks have been a real blessing to Lynn and I this year. My journey into the PCa world would have been so much tougher without the wonderful caring and support that you have showered on Lynn and I. We thank you all so much for the time and energy in showering us with your blessings.
Lynn is still doing pretty good following her latest round of treatments. A little lacking in energy, she's been fighting a stubborn cold for the last three weeks. We have meeting with her doctor in January and he is proposing she go back on maintenance chemo-therapy drugs. She's not too thrilled about
it but it sure beats the alternatives.
As an aside, I had a wonderful conversation with Jeff (corvetteman) last night. He is an absolute hoot to talk with. If you get the chance, by all means take him up on any offer to talk on the phone.
I think my self imposed break from daily postings has given me much needed mental rest and I am now ready to jump back in with both feet. I look forward to interacting with you all again. So as they say, "we'll see you in the funny pages".
With Love and Caring, Lynn and I wish all your dreams and hopes come true in 2010,
Sonny
