Just got my PSA results back. It has now been about 3 years since I had IMRT for a rising PSA after surgery.
My PSA remains less than 0.1.
Although I know I have a long time to go until I can assume I'm off the hook, I am of course relieved. I admit that I am a "glass half empty" person and I always think that this will be the time my PSA rises.
But not now, at least.

Happy New Year, indeed, Galileo.........pins & needles, pins and needles. I can only imagine what it's like for the guys who have the rising PSA, undergo SRT, and then wait to find out how well it worked. But 3 years and counting, ya gotta love that, no matter whether you're a half empty or half full guy. Congrats!!

You are doing great, actually jealous of your new record. 3 years and counting after SRT and still pulling a zero, you should definitely begin to breathe easier. Very happy for you.

Tha is great to hear and i hope many more years of that number for you. It does give hope to those of us who will be starting IMRT, as will I on 1/18/10. Glad to hear from you and thanks for the update.

Nope not now is right. In the mean time you continue with your work in support groups and your determination to help others that remains simply remarkable. Thanks for all you do.
