As some of you know, I was started on Bimix injections for ED in November 2009. My mixture is a little different than some that I have seen, in that I inject phentalomine and Prostogladin-E, with a little Lidocaine for pain control. On two seperate occasions this past couple of weeks, I have noticed than when I inject my usual workable dosage, following some alcohol (Bourbon) use, that it seems that the injection results are almost a complete failure. The response is a non-functional, partial erection. So, does someone out there have experience with this or am I just weird. I do not recall that my Urology physician ever told me that alcohol would cancel the functionality of the Bimix. I am aware that other medications commonly used for ED, i.e., Viagra, Levitra, Cialias, don't work well with alcohol. But, those medications work differently physiologically than the injections.
I am sure that my injection technique is "right on", and having worked in medicine and surgery for the past 35 years, one would think that I would have a good handle on injecting medications.
If anyone has similar experiences with this expensive, and frustrating occurances, I would love to hear your take on it.
Thanks
