It took me a good 3 months of frustratingly little control, using pullups and filling them up when I stood up initially. Being at work was a real hassle, changing pullups and then pads all the time. However, things did get better. It can take patience. Kegels help, but as much harping as I got about it from my doctor, I am convinced some of it was just time. I was frustrated because I had heard that some that had the surgery had just about no incontinence, and I had so much trouble initially. My point is that how you end up may not be very dependent on how you do initially. Hang in there, Schubal.
In having to deal with pads at work, I acquired an appreciation for what women have to deal with month in and month out a better part of their lives!
