Just thinking out loud. Other of the body's organs can have tissues outside of the organ itself. Thyroid, liver, and spleen come to mind. Sometimes, these "ectopic" cell groups can become malignant and give a diagnostician fits with trying to find what is going on. Prostate tissue can do this also, but it might remain benign. The bladder and the Processus Vaginalis (a remanent of the pathway where the testicles exits the abdomen into the scrotum in a male embryo) are common sites for these ectopic prostate collections. These could well be a source of PSA, but I expect this would be rare. Don't know what radiation, as received for SRT would do to this "normal" prostate tissue. Going to ask my URO.
