bcc, it could be referred pain from the surgery. It could also be related to all of the swelling that you have likely experienced - I recall I was so swelled you could not tell whether I was circumsized or not post-surgery for the first couple of weeks.
There is another possibility - and you should check with your uro on this. When I was 19, I had the same sensation - sort of like a vice grip on one of my testicles. An ambulance trip to the hospital and a consult with a uro turned up that I needed a bilateral orchiopexy for a torsion. The explanation that I have gotten is that the tissue that anchors the testicles to the scrotum gets dislodged (some of us are potentially genetically inclined), and when the blood supply to the testes becomes compromised, the result is extreme pain and an urgent need to get it fixed (to avoid losing the testicle). A minor surgery is all that is needed to repair the anchoring process (but literally having your balls in a sling is pretty dramatic!). I suppose with the swelling of the surgery, it could bring on this condition. I also expect this is quite rare.
Needless to say, it made me more sheepish than the average lad to get a vasectomy when it came time...
Hope your pain subsides quickly. As I will always advise, talk to your doc and get his take on your condition.
Best regards, Jeff
