This was posted today on the Prostatecancerinfolink web-site.  They have a lot of interesting stuff.  This puts this disease into prespective.  This paper should be made a permanent sticky here for new people to see.

Seems like very good news especially since treatment for biochemical reoccurrence has improved greatly.

Heck, I guess I can start buying beer by the case again!

I guess I have to start watching my cholesterol and sugar level, I always thought that PCa will get me first.

If this study is sound and factual, it would be somewhat encouraging in the big picture of things

Seems a bit of a mixed load of statistics, as the most important part of the data listed is surely that becasue the average age of the patients was so high that by the time 30 years had passed 96% of them were dead, so the survial rates at 30 years are only based on data from the remaining 4%=40 patients.


And in the 1950s ED was not on the agenda - people (even people in the medcial profession) don't beleive older people have sex these days let alone back then.
