Neurological disorder

Sounds like an affliction of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. It is called Meralgia Paresthetica. Can be caused by kinking of the nerve as it comes through the abdominal fascia just above the front of your hip bone. It causes you to feel a burning sensation over the side and front of your thigh. about where a man's pant's pocket sits. Time will take care of this. If you have a bit of a paunch and were in the knees up position for awhile, that might do this. It is benign and best treated with time and neglect. Have you had a blood sugar checked recently? It also happens spontaneously. The worst treatment is to do anything to it.
