The weight from the biopsy would be an estimate (perhaps better said guestimate) based on size and density determined through some sort of CT or other scan. It could be no more than an estimate, as it was still firmly housed. The weight of the removed prostate at final pathology might include attached tissues, seminal vesticles, etc., and is the weight of an object on a scale. You would have to know more about the path. laboratory's procedures.
I had no estimate of weight or size before surgery.
