I was on intermittent Zoladex/Leucrin injection for 6 years before becoming hormone refractory.
But the doctors still want me to take the injection every 3 months, claiming that even though I'm officially refractory, the injection will still suppress a 'certain population' of PC cells.
Needless to say that when I was on intermittent therapy I felt better without the Zoladex/Leucrin side effects.
The question is: is it really still worth getting the injection?
