Chatuge,
My pain turned out to be neuropathy. I dont talk about it often, but when I woke up from surgery my left arm was 3x its normal sixe. The IV line came out when the robot was already at work and they had to pull me out an re-do the IV. Not sure that has caused the neuropathy but pain has been a companion since surgery. They apologized at the hospital for the error as did Dr. S. Guess thye had to say something as my arm and hand looked freakish. LOL
I also noticed on the surgical report that I obtained a copy of it said I tolerated anesethia well, with no mention of the error. Working on just letting go of it and moving on, but I wasnt a happy camper. It took a CT, two different neurologists and my PCP before they could identify the problem. Not Dr. S fault, but it was the anesethia teams fault and I remember well her having problems getting the line in a vein and then she said she got it back in prior to meeting the robot. She was wrong.
