I changed this link at the top left of the forum today. Hopefully this is a little more clear about
what it is used for. :)

Do not know if it is related... But now we cannot make changes to our signatures... When you click submit, it kind of gets lost.

That sig problem is universal to the site, and the owner has been notified. Thanks for mentioning it...

I reported it and Peter replied:
"thanks, that is a bug I have seen recently.... It appears to only affect those using IE. I'll try to fix that this week."
So check back next weekend...

James,
As a Firefox user I can attest that the problem is not limited to IE. I tried to update last Monday and couldn't using Firefox 3.6.6
Thanks

I apologize for this error. I've been doing some updates to the forum and this bug slipped through. I believe it is fixed now.... please try again.

Peter.I normally use Google Chrome. I tried updating my sig today 6th July, but with no success.I also switched to try it with IE again and in my profile my sig on IE also includes all the code and looks like this:
That final extra line I have just added is the one that does not actually appear in my sig.
And once again may I thank you for HW.

English Alf,
Strange, I reversed the code so it was the same as it was before, so behavior should be the same as it has always been. I use Chrome too. Try inserting your changes, replace the BR tags with a line return. You should see your signature changes in your profile, although you won't see them on your posts until the next time you log in.

Thank you Peter.
I think it's okay now.
