I had my 6 month follow-up Thursday and was very relieved to have another Zero. I know I have some time to go to really have some calm, but I couldn't be happier with the results so far. As some of you know, I opted for an open procedure with a surgeon who performed about 1400 surgeries. I'm leak free and the hydraulics (an old Greaseman reference for anyone who remembers him from the radio airways in DC) are working just fine. I truly feel blessed and am continually thankful, especially for the advice and friendship from the folks here at the "Well." Cheers My Friends!

That is about the best report card you can have after six months Defender. Congrats on another zero.

Congratulations mate, everything working also!

Glad to hear Winston's doing well.
Spot, our much loved border collie passed away a couple of months ago.
Sadly missed, but he made us laugh 10 times a day for 15 years:)

Hello Defender, Jim.

That truely is good news and welcome to the ZERO CLUB.

You may note by my signature block I am 5 1/2 yrs on the same path of club membership. 

I will say this.  It does get easier but it never gets easy.  Pangs of fear still tug down deep each time and go away till next time.
