I've been searching around the forum for info on inexpensive pumps. There are TONS of posts. I'd like to get to the gist of things. Any recomedations for and over the counter pumps? My Dr. wrote a RX for the Osbin. I've had a ridiculis time getting it filled. Best case senerio is $350.00 out of pocket. I was told I should only have to spend about $100.00 from the Doc. nono I'm living in MA. if thet makes any difference. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that some of the guys will tell you to buy an inexpensive one from an Adult Toy Store. Much cheaper, and from what they say, it will do the job.

I bought the "Encore" battery operated for around $100. The manual one may be cheaper.
It works fine for me.

I appealed the denial from my ins. and got the osborn covered, at least in writing. Still waiting for the claim and check.

I used one from a sex shop for awhile. The problem with them is that they wear out very quickly. I would search more on the internet

these are just as good as any of the medical pumps here, but a fraction of the price. This doctor manufactures them himself. really good guy.

I have the osborn and the shaft developed a hair line crack and a slight leak - very expensive to replace. I use a $25 version from the adult book store and it is much better than those expensive "medical" pumps. There are also different attachments you can buy for the bottom contact point with your skin. I highly recommend shaving the shaft and base and keeping trim elsewhere else to get a good seal.

By the way, introducing the pump into the bedroom was a bit ackward at first but once, after I got my erection, I used it on her breasts and vagina and then performed oral and the pump is now a very welcome partner in our playtime.

It looks like you can get a reasonable one for about $30. I think the name is Fireman's friend or something similar. I have used an expensive one (Augusta) for a year now and it shows no signs of breaking down. Mine is not battery operated. It is manually pumped. That way at least one part of my body gets some exercise.

Go with the cheaper version of the Osbin Erecaid Esteem Manual. my Ins covered 80%

Thanks for all the input. I am looking into all the websites you've provided. I thought it was WAY to much $$$$. And the Doc says next step is shooting up the poor little thing :( I'd sure like to exaust ALL options before that!!!!! By the way...I'm 52, 5 years out, undetectable PSA. Had one bundle removed, partial erection with no drugs etc. I've found most durgs don't really help. My Doc really dropped the ball here on getting me back in the game....did an excellent job on the surgery, it was the old school big slice.but should have been aggressive to get me "back in the sadle". Please keep the suggestions comming. I will post up when I get what I need.....and the results. Thanks again.
