I am 8 months out of RALP and I am still 100% incontinent during the day when I am on my feet. I have been in PT for two months doing kegels with biofeedback and stim. So now I come to my question. I was told to try to draw up or lift my anal area and according to the feedback I have made good progress. In the last serveral weeks I am now able to work another area. When I tense the new spot it seems to right where the uretha goes thru the pelvic floor. My PT seems very knowlegable but has not had anybody ask about
this previously. So, it seems to me, now that I have gained strenght and able to control what seems to the muscels that are located right at the sphincter would this be better to focus on than those muscles that i started working on? I don't think that working this new spot or the old one are mutaully exclusive, but more an issue of the greater focus.
Hopefully others have noticed the spot I think I am feeling and can tell me if focusing on this would be more benifical?
