Hey Arno.........thanks for posting this link to the article on TRT. Although I and a couple of others have posted on this topic, it seems not to get much attention, and the threads recede rather quickly. I'm doing the "T" or not to "T" dance currently, with my local uro having reversed his stance from a year ago where he steadfastly refused to consider TRT for me despite symptoms I was having. Now, I accepted the wisdom of waiting until I posted a 1-yr PSA of <0.1, and I've passed the 18-mionth mark with same. Now my uro, based on studies such as this one, as well as ones by Morgethaler, et al, is willing to administer a trial of TRT if I hit the 2-yr mark of <0.1. While I've been blessed with a good pathology outcome and no incontinence and progressively improving ED, my libido, stamina, energy, fat gain/muscle loss and cognitive deficits have been a real ball and chain. I have been taking a lot of supplements under my MD's care, and will post on the success I'm seeing in a separate post. Hopefully, I'll have a lot of levels back where they belong, so that when it comes time to supplement with "T", the rest of my system will be tuned up and ready.
Thanks again for posting this informative study.
