Coconut Oil?

Found it interesting reading, but doubtful of any curative properties. However, coconut oil was recommended at FrankTalk as a pump lubricant, which is probably what it's best at.

I have been advised (somewhat to my surprise) to use coconut oil for higher heat frying (eg, stir fries). Apparently, it has a high "smoke point". Olive oil is great cold, but apparently has a lower smoke point and can be a carcinogen when heated beyond its smoke point. I was told this by a nutrionist and an oncologist who purports to have expertise in nutrition & cancer.

As to using any real oil as a lubricant for a pump, it would void the warranty on the Osbon.

I understand that DRE's are more difficult when there is a tail involed. But i'm not sure.
