i had rp on sept 13, 2010. cath. out after 10 days, at frist i was going through 8 to 10 diapers a day. after about
a month i was on to pads still 8 to 10. i tried walking but like you would fill up a pad in know time. i knew i had to exercise so i dusted off my old nordic track ski machine and gave it a try and guess what no leaking.
the way you have to lean into the hip pad makes you tighten your pelvic floor muscules while you are using it. i new this had to be good so i worked myself up to 30 min. 5-6 days a week. now i am using 1 pad in 24 hours and there is not very much in it, just a little wet spot in the middle. i am completley dry at night. and take the dog for a 2 mile walk after work and don't leak. i still leak after sitting a long time, lifting and snezzing, but its only a tiny, tiny bit. i really think that it was the nordic track that helped me recover as fast as i am.
