Willie is home, waiting for chemo early next week.....

Willie came home this afternoon and the plan is that he'll be assessed on Monday by his med. onc. and if possible, start chemo on either Monday or Thursday.

No details about which chemo or expectations.......but Willie wants to give it a shot.

Our fingers and toes are crossed, hope it's not too late and that it's tolerable for my wonderful guy.

It's wonderful to have him home again, can we ask that you all please cross your fingers and toes but don't get too cramped!?

Will post details as we travel this new road.

-- as a child, I would go about wishing someone luck by physically crossing fingers, then toes ( could do that with the toe beside the big toe), legs, arms, crossed eyes ( ever so briefly) and finally the tongue.....
