Who's around New Orleans for me to buy drinks? Yes, I had my first post-op psa screening and it came up 0.1. That was Tuesday, the same day I was prescribed and took a half Cialis (20 mg) and tried to engage my wife. No luck unfortunately. Today, I kept an appointment to learn the proper injection technique for Trimix. I had the shot and it worked (sort of) but ached a lot. So much so that when I got back from the hospital I *********d thinking (like old times) it would go away with release. No such luck. In fact, while the orgasm felt mostly the same, upon release, urine shot everywhere; it was disgusting. I can't imagine my wife enjoying that, albeit politely tolerating it.

Other than using condoms, which we have heretofore eschewed, does anyone have any insight as to whether this urinary ejaculate lasts.

Obviously, I know what's important, and that's the 0.1, but still, I have the fleeting notion that I would be the exception to the rule.

Father of Two, How's your everyday continence level?  I wonder if ejaculating urine might be related to general urinary continence issues. 

I've been fortunate that has not happened to me, though I'm always careful to completey empty my bladder before any sexual activity.  I don't know if actually having an erection changes things and won't know until I actually have one.

I hope your problem clears up as time goes by.

While the prostate is in place, there is a sphincter muscle that closes just prior to ejaculation to prevent just that from happening ------- this stops semen from being blown back into the bladder (or urine being expelled with the ejaculate) and sends it where it is supposed to go (if this does not work as it should then it is called "retrograde ejaculation"). I should think that with prostate removal this close-off facility can be removed or drastically effected. As Clocknut said, time could fix things up though.

I've stopped wearing pads and am generally leak free unless I have too many glasses of wine, in which case things loosen up, as it were. But as you say clocknut, even with an injection, mine can best be described as middle of the road. Hopefully, when/if things ever go back to "normal" then that will repair itself...

You need to empty your bladder before injecting the trimix. If I don't empty my bladder completely I lose few drops afterwords.

It took me over a year but now urine on ejaculation is down to a few drops and tolerable for both of us. As others have said, empty your bladder first.

I'm almost two years out from surgery and I still shoot urine out like a geyser. I empty my bladder and do not drink anything, it does not matter. My uro said to try a condom, but there is way to much urine for a condom to hold. The urine starts coming out the back of the comdom.

Urine on orgasm seems to be a fairly common thing. I am nearly 2 years out from robotic and I spray on orgasm, whether or not I empty the bladder prior. I am otherwise 99.9% continent so the issue of leaking does not seem to be connected to the loss of urine on ejaculation.

I tend to squirt during sex rather than at orgasm, but reports here suggest squirting urine at orgasm is very common.

If you can, then try taking a very short pause during sex to have a pee, then if/when you do squirt it should be less. (I usually dash to the bathroom, stand by the bath as my penis is obviously pointing the wrong way to pee in the WC and let it flow, then dash back to the bedroom - I don't hang around to clean the bath either but do that afterwards!)

I also have a waterproof sheet on my side of our bed to protect the mattress anyway, so we always make sure we are on my side of the bed to have sex.

Another very simple option is to get carried away in the shower, either with the water on or not, but warm water splashing on both of you disguises any squirting or it makes it very easy to clean up.

Also note that fresh urine is sterile. If your partner gets some inside her it is not going to be a problem.

Yes a condom is an option, but you no longer need to use condoms that are for a contraceptive function, so remember there are not just regular ones but there are also ones that don't have lubricant etc, or smell of it, and also ones that smell of (or taste like!) strawberries, oranges, mint etc.

And when it comes to what you or your partner may or may not be comfortable with or happy about, then maybe there is something to be gained from making sure you are comfortable peeing in each other's presence anyway.

But don't let this be a reason to stop having sex or trying to have sex though.
