What a great day it is today!  Just got back from my Dr. I received my PSA and T test results after my first three months on Zoladex.  He told me that my PSA went from 3.44 and is now undetectable at 0.04 . My "T" level is at chemical castration level of 1.0 .  I am high as a kite on coffee.  Drinks all around.  Thanks guys for the support as I was really nervous (anxious actually) over this last blood test and I certainly appreciated your words of wisdom.  Have to get the snowblower ready as a storm is coming in around 3:30 a.m.

Yep!  but ED is still an issue. Just began to get it back after surgery and wham, radiation.  Just started to get it back after radiation and wham, HT. But with a long shower, even on Zoladex, the big "O" is still great!

Yea the HT will shut you down. I was shut of for three years. But it did come back after I stopped it. And I am sure in time you will want to take a "vacation" as well. But enjoy the break!

well i'm jealous.  i wasn't trying to pry but i was wondering why you thought the zoladex wasn't working.

Ed,

I was worried about that because, coupled with the ability and desire to achieve orgasm, I have had none of the customary SE.  I have to work hard to keep my muscle mass from being depleted and I have gained, maybe 3 pounds.  I'm not nearly as tired as I was post radiation.  So putting all that together I actually wondered if the HT was working.  Apparently it was and is!! 

My question now is if my T level is so low, I wonder if there will be SE yet to come from my second injection?  My Dr. figures if it is that low already then this might be it.  Any ideas on this?

Jack -- my doctor told me the same thing. the ole pep talk cool . my side effects got a little worse with the second shot i think but i also had BT and IGRT during the effective period of the second shot.  i started getting hot flashes after my third shot, which is still where i am today. the flashes aren't that bad tho.

you have a good attitude and a strong body so just keep doing what you are doing.  everyone is different.

Glad to hear of the great results. I think my side effects got worse the longer I was on ADT3, however I was able to deal with all of it. I stayed extremely active which I think is the key.
