How to save on pads...

Hello All,

I know the expense of pads can add up over time,  but there is a way to save on them...   maybe during the time at home watching TV...  or sleeping at night if that is an issue...  I got the idea from a women that saving on the cost of diapers...

View in your mind...   a picture of a penis poked thru a little hole near the top of a paper cup...

Great idea! At $0.16 per pad you save $58.40 per year. And you have the added advantage of being able to pour the "test fluid" into your wife's Pyrex graduated measuring cups for accurate leakage readings.

Of course the savings might be offset by divorce attorney fees.

I try to save every penny so I take the wet ones and lay them out under the Florida sun then reuse them. I sprinkle them with oregano.

I find barbecue spice is a better desiccant !

I squeeze BTU's out of my used pads by tossing them into my wood burning stove. 20 pounds of dry pee pad material (cellulose, hemi-cellulose and lignin) has the same heating value as ~1.5 gallons of heating oil.

I burn paper towels and used tissues too.

Burn them in a firebox hooked to a Stirling engine and you can generate electricity.

Could this be the replacement for nuclear power?

(By the way, before my sling, I really did burn them in my Lopi Freedom wood-burning stove along with the paper trash. It is a high temp, high efficiency, reburner type stove. )

I have also found that you can nail your old pee pads to the fence posts around your propery. That will mark it as your territory and keep most of the roaming dogs and other similar critters from crossing thru your property...

- that is what I have recommended my customers at the garden centre for years.

I used to use the cayene pepper, bloodmeal, "critter-ridder" routine on the squirrels in Toronto - until they decimated twelve of my hybrid lilies one year ...

- after watching a National Geographic special - I decided to mark my territory with pee on rocks ( it evaporates and does not leave an odour for humans to smell - but the animals get it) and spread cloves of garlic on the soil - which hides their scent they put on their food before they bury it ( they mark it like cat faces rubbing on people)

note: if you like tulips and the squirrels eat the bulbs - plant daffodils around the area - squirrels like onions ( tulips) but do NOT like garlic ( daffodils)

- the hanging pee on material at nose level for deer works as well - and fishing line at nose level helps too...

-also, I think "Urine The Money" is already trademarked by the producers of the TV series, PUPPETS WHO KILL - in which one of the characters sells a sample of a clean guy's pee for sport or job screening samples ...

-and, the above recommendations only work with boy pee - girl pee has a difference acid level or something -
- I am also aware that there is a more agreeable procedure if the pee for the marking is generated by beer.
I think it is GFMPH !!!
