All set for the summer

Just had my 6 monthly appointment with the urology nurse and blood test results all normal with psa being undetectable.

So I can enjoy the great English summer in all it`s glory until my next test in October. I am now nearly 2 years out from surgery and consider myself lucky. I am still awaiting my friend`s biopsy results, as in my last post I mentioned that his psa was 818. I shall do my best to support him.

818? exactly how high does PSA go?

I think it can go into the thousands, but I am not an expert, perhaps some one with more knowledge can comment.

Congrats on the good news and the plans. I thought English summers were rainy, gloomy and lasted for only 2 weeks of sunshine. smilewinkgrin

PSA can go very high.   One fellow on Yananow was at 7,000.   My urologist treated a man with 12,000 when he was a chief resident.   Trueman Seamans was dx at 4212, T4, and G7.   He lived 10 years on ADT.

Sounds like my growing up in Ohio. Out here we average over 300 days of sunshine annually. Ohio get the other 65 and under
