I met with my radiation oncologist 4 weeks ago yesterday when the decision was made for SRT. We did the layout work as soon as tax season ended and were scheduled to start radiation a week ago today. The insurance company has yet to give the go ahead. I was told, yesterday, that the case management people hired to review the medical side of things finally said the treatment plan looks good. Naturally, in the middle of this, I got a notice that my insurance is going up 50%. Color me one happy camper.
