3 Yrs out - ZERO!

Howdy to my HW brothers and sisters.

I turn 63 in a few days, so this is a huge early B-day present.

Just got the results of my latest PSA test. Onco's office left a voicemail that it was "normal". I'm calling it a zero. Will see the Onco in two weeks to confirm that is what "normal" means.

Less anxiety over this PSA test than any before. I was prepared for good or bad news, but am glad to get another zero. It is just over 3 years since my diagnosis.

I don't post much anymore, but check in every day to keep up with everyones' journeys.

Seminal vesicals, perineural margin, 18 lymph nodes, bladder neck: all carcinoma free

Perineural invasion & Distal Margin: Carcinoma present

IMRT adjuvant radiation (35 Treatments) End 1/27/09

That's great news.  These kinds of reports aways bring a smile to my face.  I just had blood drawn on Wednesday and am hoping for zeroes, too, which would bring an even broader smile.  I hope I can duplicate your results.

You should do something special this weekend to celebrate.

I just signed up today to come to Camp Pendleton next month to talk to a conference the Marines are having. That's just north of you I think. Looking forward to being in that area. I have a business partner in the Rancho Bernardo, Escondido, area (lives in Rancho, office in Escondido) and so I know the area a bit. Always seems to me God gave San Diego way more than its fair share of all the good stuff.

I'm going to go have another rum and coke right away to celebrate your three years!
