Today was my last treatment.  I am glad that it is over, but it wasn't horrible.  More than anything, it was just disruptive to my normal routine.  The only side effect that I have noticed is fatigue, which got worse the farther I got in to the treatments.  Today at work, I could hardly keep my eyes open, even after going to sleep at 6:30 last night.  I hope that the energy level returns soon.  Other than that, I can't say for sure that there were any noticeable side effects that I could attribute to the radiation.  Maybe I was lucky in that respect, but I hope that I am lucky in that the treatment was successful.

Congratulations, Paul, for completing your SRT. As you well know, its an endurance contest as much as anything else. I hope it knocks out the rest of any remaining cancer for you, and you can start with a new string of "zero's".

Got to feel good to have it completed Paul. It was for me and the fatigue hung around a little longer than I cared for. Keep us posted on your PSA progress and my best to you.

Paul,
The fatigue went away pretty quickly for me. I made it a point to walk a couple miles a day. Sometimes that's still pretty easy for me if you've seen some of the mega resorts I do business with. But within weeks I was feeling more energy.

Thanks, everybody. It is good to get on with my life. Now that I'm done, I can actually take a vacation. On to Sanibel Island in 3 weeks for some sun, seafood, and fishing!

You can take advantage of some of that beach cabana time to get an afternoon nap, and no one the wiser!.
