The MRI came back no Mets detectable, but possibily one bundle invaded. But at the same time, no escape detected. HMM. Well, I decided to go back to SA and open RP is scheduled for Aug 5th. I have an ex-wife and her son that can help and have decided to accept. I have a appt. Aug 2nd with the surgeon to go over the latest test results and discuss my options for nerve sparing on one side or not and how he feels about the lymph nodes.

Got your email. At this point I think your choices are limited. With your high psa, and Gleason I would take an aggressive approach. The doctor should take as many lymphnodes as possible as this has been shown to have a survival benefit. I would also ask about adjuvent hormone therapy as this will also improve your survival odds.

Thank you so much JT, that is exactly what I needed hear to get through this thick skull of mine.

Its funny now that I have surgery scheduled, how I notice all the ED commercials now. There's the ole blue pill commercials, both the real and the famous knock off. Then the other pill. Now there is a guy pushing his pump that is approved by Medicade sect. B and most insurance companies. It is kinda funny watching "actual customers" promote this with a huge grin! lol
