3 YEAR PSA TEST UNDETECTABLE but LOW TESTOSTERONE

Hello everyone I just wanted to post my latest PSA test results.  MY three year PSA test came back undetectable but my testosterone level came back as low. I don't feel any ill affects from the low testosterone. I'm going to look into what I can do to elevate my testosterone levels naturally. IF that doesn't work then I will ask my doc if I need some type of testosterone treatment.

All in all life is pretty much back to normal. I don't come to this site much any more but I remember how I used to look forward to others posting their PSA test results.  So good luck everyone there is a lot of life after pca and I wish you all the best!

We all are happy to see any one's 0 PSA scores posted. I just had my first one last week and hope to be posting a 0 in 3 years too. smilewinkgrin

Way to go on the great news, I hope you get zeros for the rest of your life.

I am only four months out of surgery and have been lucky to be in the zero club for my first two PSA tests. I did visit with my Urologists last month becuase I too have low T (150) and discussed that with him. He indicated that the current guidlines are to be cancer free for one year before anyone considers having T treatments. He did say that he wanted me to be around 600 level but with my bad pathology (Gleason 9) he said that the first year would be critical).

So I would suggest making an appointment with your Uro and have a consultation and if appropriate, begin T treatments (ointments, patches or shots).

Again, congrats on making it to three years being cancer free.

That is great news! about the PSA anyway.

My next test is Thursday. Probably won't be as good as yours, since I have been detectable that last few test, but hopefully it won't go up.

I don't post much either these days, but I still lurk a bit.

Good to hear from you Jersey and congrats on the PSA. I have never asked what my T level is and never have been told. Perhaps that is just as well for me as that way I can motivate myself through the sluggish times. Keep us posted and my best to you.
