Wow. This has become an interesting thread.
ART - do you mind a dose of reality? Let me start with a cliche: It is what it is.
The reality is that for those of us like me with a rising PSA, we are not cured. We are always looking at the next phase. For those with a very very low or undetectable PSA, WE DON'T KNOW. AT THE very least, it is a remission. Is it a cure? One can hope so. YOU DON'T KNOW.
The challenge is to try and live one's life fully. Whatever works, If religion does it for you, fine. If assuming you are cured works, fine. For some, it is just finding a path that works.
I really thought you were pulling our legs. I see that's not true, but that's okay too. I wish you the best of luck.
What is fearful to me personally is the fact that I am heading for HT. Reading posts like yours is scary as it underscores what I may (or, hopefully, may not) be in for. It looks like you have been through hell with the HT.
In fact, if you wouldn't mind sharing any insight in dealing with HT, I would find that interesting too.
Again, good luck to you.
