Well, it has been confirmed my dad does have some spinal cord compression in the thoracic area of his spine. He is to start radiation treatments tomorrow. He is supposed to get 10. After he is finished with the radiation he is to begin chemotherapy with doxetal, I believe. He was first diagnosed in April of the year, Gleason 9 with exstensive mets to the bones. Back in July his PSA was 1.4 but it is now 27 his testosterone level as well as ALK Phos is also elevated. He has been feeling pretty good except he has developed some pain in the legs. His MRI that confirmed the spinal compression showed that he has metsto almost his entire spine. I wonder if there is any hope, or is the battle almost over?
